Summary
Homura sat there watching as everything fell into chaos around her. Mami had a musket pointed at Madoka, Madoka had a bow pointed at Kyoko, Kyoko had her spear wrapped around Mabayu, Mabayu was ready to throw her scissors at Kirika, Kirika had her claws posed to disembowel Sayaka, Sayaka had a cutlass to Oriko’s neck, and Oriko’s orbs were ready to blast Mami in the head. Homura, meanwhile, stared in confusion as all seven of the other magical girls screamed at the same time.
“Homura is MINE!”
This entire situation left Homura with only one question.
“How the hell did this happen?” Homura thought to herself.

Summary
The old world is gone. Madoka has ascended, and Homura is back on earth, drowning in grief and and unsure how to go on now that her life's work has ended in failure. Old friendships can be remade and new ones forged, but something is very wrong with the world - the Utopia that Madoka's sacrifice should have ushered in is nowhere to be seen, and a new threat is growing in the shadows. If Homura is to put things right, she will need all the help she can get - including from some unexpected quarters...

Summary
“Kaname Madoka, do you value your own life?” She asked, her cold tone sending a shiver down Madoka's spine.
“O-of course I do! My life, and everyone in it.”
“Then you must never pilot an Eva,” She went on sternly. “If you do, you’ll die. The life you hold dear will be ripped from you in an instant. Do you want that to happen?”
“Of course I don’t!” Madoka replied. "B-but still… What if one day, you’re hurt so badly that you can’t be a pilot anymore? If there’s no-one else around, then-”
“That won’t happen.” Akemi-san said, with more certainty than Madoka could attribute to mere overconfidence. “So promise me, Kaname Madoka. Promise me you will never get inside one of those things, not for as long as you live.”
Madoka stared at the bleeding body of the girl before her. Bruises were already starting to bloom across almost every inch of exposed skin, and Akemi-san, despite her confident voice and level words, had started to wobble on her feet.
“I promise.” Madoka said. Akemi-san looked at the ground.
“Good. That is the right choice."

Summary
Finding herself annoyed at Sayaka's suspicions about her new world, Homura decides to teach her a lesson she herself learned long ago, across the span of several painful and repeated years. Sayaka must learn what the new world cost to create, she must learn how hard it was to save everyone. She must learn how hard it is to save even a single person.
Meanwhile, Sayaka Miki goes missing from the world. Madoka, Kyoko, and Mami begin the search for her, all whilst there are memories about other missing people from lifetimes ago growing clearer and clearer inside their minds.

Or: Homura puts Sayaka in a time loop pocket dimension where a version of Kyoko keeps dying in order to teach her to be grateful for what she has. In the real world, the others struggle to figure out where she's gone as Devil Homura's existence seeps back into the fold and Madoka's latent godlike abilities reawaken.Bookmarked by DaBigJay08
