Rudo and Regto are banished to the pits when he is only ten years old after they are framed for murder. They land in a garbage field of poison air, trash beasts, and a future scraped together from whatever they can salvage.
Every item is important to Rudo. Nothing was trash to him. He'd repurpose it all if he could help it. How was he supposed to know that the items seemed to care about him, too?
Or.. Regto does everything he can for Rudo on the ground even if it means risking everything when they join the Cleaners.

Flins enters and decides to join them. Whilst drinking Varka takes a bet against Wriothesley to see who can drink more. Once they are eventually both to drunk to even think, Flins and Neuvillette carry them to a room. When they eventually both sober up, Flins and Neuvillette decide give them a punishment by restraining them both in a room together. Whilst Neuvillette and Flins move to another room to explore each other, Varka and Wriothesley can only hear the moans coming from another room.
