Hyrule has been in a state of ruin for many years. Sure, many people in Hyrule still live in different civilizations across the land, however, it is no longer the prosperous land of Hyrule that it once was. Now, many that know of the Great Calamity live without peace.
100 years have past since the Great Calamity. In a place isolated from civilization, someone seems to have woken up. This person is not just a regular Hylian either, rather, someone that Hyrule had thought fell during the Calamity.
That person... is Link.

Zelda didn’t think, didn’t hesitate; she just leapt for Link, reaching desperately for his hand as her own began to glow. She’d protected herself and the Brigade from a cataclysmic fall like this once, she could do it again, weakened powers be damned. She needed to save Link. No matter what, she needed to save him. They were getting out of here together, damn it all.

At least that was what the Goddesses had told him, and as King Sidon looked out into the Domain, he was afraid of their prophecy coming true. He was prepared to do anything for his children. He was prepared to die for them. But as Sidon turned away from the window and looked into the mirror, he could only frown.
Things had gotten so much more complicated in the last twenty-four hours.
"Are you alright?" Link asked, wrapping his arms intentionally around Sidon's waist.

Ten years after the Great Calamity, the Shrine of Resurrection is damaged and Link's parents fight to save their son and Hyrule along with him.
