how did bro manage sexual tension in a way that feels not at all ooc, that feels like a writing 4d big brain move. I cant comprehend. Ok but that aside, ahem ahem personal opinion here but i think the lucifer characterisation is genuinely one of my favorites. He's powerful, but kinda flopy and sad, the ego and pride is still there but he's also kinda like humble about it(???) dunno, but it makes u wanna hold him in ur hands 🥺 even tho u know he cud totally decimate ur family.

A lotta fics have the whole "ugh fine im gonna heal al bc my daughter wants me to" shmick, but I feel like this one pulls it off the best(subjective opinion). Like, he genuinely doesn't want to, not like the over-the-top "AlASTOR hate that guy id do anything to take him down a peg" kinda dislike, but more like "ehhhhhh do i really wanna chase after that gremlin who wud def rather die than take help from me?". (which i think makes more sense bc I dont rally get the "real hate fr" vibe from them, more like "id rather not be in a room with u for more than five minutes bc ur kinda annoying") So like, reluctance. But like realistic and easy to digest. ughaw I MEAN WHAT DO I KNOW im just saying wahtever makes sense in my head, and these are my own personal preferences so *shrugging noise*But the self-hate + desperation to make amends with charlie is just so 🥺🥺🥺 (i wanna cry for him) VIVID, and its like this whole fic really sprinkles in bits and pieces to let u know how much he really loves her. its soOOO SWEET in that subtle way.
Also al being sus 👀 that hand on hip, whats he thinking HMM??? HMMMMM HMMMMMMMM al shud have his hand on lucifers hip more often, i think. 😌 -

dunno what to say its so hard to summarize cuz as u can tell from the word count, THERE IS A LOT IN THIS TINY PACKAGE but ther is a scene where lucifer is being annoying and throws a temper tantrum and then al tricks him into a dip n kiss and then luci gets over it its pretty funny
(whispers, i still prefer al tops but i can respect others tastes and this stuffs just objectively good 🫡)

Alastor has, somewhere deep in the ever-turning cogs of his brain, decided to extend his plan of forging loyalty with just the Princess to her father, since the latter decided to crawl out of hiding and settled in the Hotel. He's not sure when his "become friends" plan gained a "with benefits" suffix, nor where does Rosie fit in with her cannibalism metaphors.
