Summary

Sanji is forced to procure a bride to appease his enforcing father, even though the last thing he wants to do is marry someone into the madness that is the Vinsmoke family. Could a compromise between the two be enough to appease both parties? And will they be able to fulfil said compromise without actually falling in love?
Historical AU based on Victorian/Regency period dramas. Imagine 1800 England, but set in One Piece World.

This became a pattern for the two, like a dangerous, addictive drug that neither could seem to sober from; the danger of being discovered made it all the more enticing. It usually went something like this: Vivi would lie awake in bed, and Ace would appear in the window, or sometimes he snuck in and surprised her by waiting in her bed for her to return from her duties before they tumbled into the sheets, limbs entwined.
Their worlds were fundamentally incompatible, and they faced the painful realisation that they might never truly be together. And yet, this unfortunate reality only seemed to push them even closer together.
