So what if there is no astrophage but there is a different sort of crisis going on, not space related. So our story starts when Courage the Cowardly (Stratt’s) Dog Ryland Grace saves the world in a different scenario, is very traumatised about it, and has the world's weirdest meet cute with Rocky.
“Wait, why do I know you?” The guy says. “Your face seems familiar.”
He stares at me, a gust of wind bouncing a lock of his hair against his forehead. The hair is very persistent.
“Wait, are you Doctor Ryland Grace? The staggering waste of carbon guy?” He does a very unflattering impression of me.
I nod because yes, that’s me and my evergreen legacy. I’ve managed to forget about that one. Oh boy. Can I just implode? Can I just leave the planet? The panic attack is looming in my temples, my throat, my stomach. It feels inevitable. I try to take measured, slow breaths.
“You look different though”
‘Yeah I uh … changed my hair’ I get out and make a sound, something between a laugh and a sob. And that does it, I’m fully in hysterics, loud, garbled, hysterical giggles push their way out of my mouth.
