Summary
Regulus struggles in vain, his thin, seeker's build no match for James' strength. The lack of food has left him weakened, making it even harder to break free. He tries to protest, but his words come out in broken gasps, the grip on his throat tightening, causing him to claw desperately at his own neck as his vision begins to blur.
Regulus' attempts to wriggle out of James' grasp are feeble, his strength diminishing with each passing moment.
"Stay. the fuck. away. from. Sirius. " James warns through gritted teeth and squeezes Regulus's neck harder. As Regulus struggles he wonders if it's worth it, if it would really be so bad if he died right now, just like this. If Sirius would even miss him at all.
