While Karen had experience with sudden world-shaking changes, her mother, and her brother, Matt, this was something altogether different.

Summary
He'd never heard of a sickness coming on so quickly, not even for Sonic, but his breaths were too shallow and there was a clammy, tingly feeling under his fur despite the chill that had encased his bones. Once he settled at his computer, Tails pried his fingers away from his neck, forcing them to type his symptoms into his search engine. This wasn't normal. Not for him, anyway.
Had he been poisoned somehow? Something slipped in his tea? He shouldn't have thrown the cup away. He'd need to retrieve it, get a sample from it, run an analysis. Tails coughed again, but this time his breathing hitched; wheezy gasps trying to fill his lungs with air as a too-tight feeling constricted his chest.

The Doctor watched Rose carefully, his gaze flickering over the contents spread between them on the scuffed up diner table while he ticked off boxes on his mental list: chips, extra salt and a side of vinegar, check; a brand new sparkly bracelet jingling on her wrist, check; something sweet–two milkshakes, Rose’s pick, one neapolitan and one peanut butter banana–check.
A happy, contented smile on Rose’s face? Still to be determined. She was looking rather pensive at the moment, frankly. He was working on it.

Summary
Everyone knows that the gods have numerous children. Besides being responsible for controlling aspects of the world, that's what they're known for. Demigods are a dime a dozen, and while the gods do care for their children, we all know that they are willing to send them to their deaths for 'the greater good,' or sometimes just for a chance at glory.
But what if demigods... didn't exist?
What if there was a Pantheon that couldn't have children with mortals, only producing stillborns and monsters?
Faced with the threat of It's world's timeline being destroyed due to this cosmic error, Fate itself seeks to intervene. It tears through reality and snatches away a select few demigods to gift to It's Pantheon, erasing and manipulating the memories of It's most vulnerable chosen, as well as rewinding the years on all that It takes, to help with the bonding process.
This choice leaves 9 demigods trapped in an Ancient Greece that not even they can recognize. Stranded, disoriented, and stripped of their claims, they must tread carefully, for the roaming monsters are not the only threat.
