“Huh? So you weren’t even into him?”

Chuuya shook her head disbelievingly and huffed. When she was amused, the left side of her mouth would twitch revealing a small dimple.
“What?” Dazai inquired.
“It’s just… If that’s the case are you sure you even like guys?”
Dazai’s mouth worked to form words from an idea her mind hadn’t yet grappled with.

Dazai closed his eyes and concentrated on his breathing, trying to calm the frantic beating of his heart. "It's not you," he whispered, his voice thick with emotion. "It's me. I'm sorry, Chuuya. I just... need you to go."
