Summary
Today’s been a real mixed bag for Kate Bishop. A little bit of good, and a little bit of bad.
Good: Kate’s back in New York for the week and she got to start her day with a nice greasy New York bacon egg and cheese from her favourite breakfast place.
Good: Kamala found the girl they came here for, who is both way younger than Kate expected and way nicer. Kamala was subsequently able to convince ‘Miss America’ to join their team - Kamala, Kate and Cassie - at the aforementioned breakfast place for a quick chat.
Bad: America asks if they’re related to the New Avengers, and Kate has to tell her that no, they aren’t. They don’t work with them. Don’t even associate with them. Kate then has to ignore the way her heart is beating out of her chest at the mention of that particular team the entire time.
(The Young Avengers go on a recruiting mission to New York, running into the New Avengers and some supervillains along the way)
