It seemed as though not everyone was prepared for the cold as she was, there was a one girl pacing back and forth and rubbing her arms, though not looking as disgruntled (or disheveled) as the other students. Vanessa didn't know the other girl's name, but she did know she lived a floor down and if the one previous time they'd interacted (Vanessa handing the girl some dropped papers) was any indication, this girl was also an artist. Likely an art major as well.
Vanessa shimmied off her sweatshirt and walked over to the girl, holding it out. "Didn't grab something before the alarm was set off?" she asked with a sympathetic grin.

It's 3 am and the fire alarm went off which leads to Audrey and Vanessa meeting.
