One time in high school, I was waiting to see the vice principle and this other kid came in and sat down next to me. He said “What are you in for?” and I said “Oh I just wanted to check if it was cool I missed my classes tomorrow to run sound and light in the auditorium for a presentation. What are you in for?” and he said he stabbed a kid with a screwdriver. I told him we led very different lives and he agreed.

Summary
Origin High is home to many types of students: the popular, the jocks, the nerds, and of course the supernaturals. Besides a secret group of hunters in training, Origin High also finds itself with a werewolf and a vampire.
Raelle couldn't give two shits about the unspoken rule with her kind that they should hate all vampires. She's never met one, so why should she hate them? She's warned not to mess with the single vampire at her new school, and she's happy to obey that rule. But then she catches this vampire's scent, and it's intoxicating, and she's way cuter than expected.
Scylla never thought she was capable of feeling so many things, until she meets Raelle, a werewolf that sets her heart ablaze.
They're both too gay to even worry about the fact that they're meant to be enemies, and it doesn't even occur to them not to fall in love.
And in the backdrop, there grows a sinister plot with neither Scylla nor Raelle realizing that their meeting was not exactly so fateful as they thought.

Scylla shook her head, walking up and placing her hands on Raelle’s shoulders, “You look terrible, why haven’t you gone to the infirmary?”
“You should see the other guy.” Raelle tried to joke, but it came out as more of a pained grumble. “And, I’m fine. Just tired.”
“Tired and bleeding.” she touched the flecks of dried blood. She chewed on her bottom lip as she felt the small cuts, healed but still there.
“It’s nothing. Barely a scratch back home. Not even worth talkin’ ‘bout.” Raelle tried to assure her. “Just need to walk it off.”
