The blinds were down, the door firmly shut with a cheery ‘closed’ sign displayed, and he knew, of course he knew, it was meant to keep civilians away, but his hand stopped mid-air all the same. His eyes were unfocused, brows together as he tried to understand why this was happening, why was he here, one step away from the Agent and from the beginning of his new master plan, and yet couldn’t move a muscle.
