Summary
On their way home from a vacation, Data and Geordi crash land on a pre-warp alien planet, forcing them into a survival situation as they try to contact the Enterprise and get home. However, something during the crash causes a strange anomaly in Data's positronic net.

“Geordi?” came a slightly crackling, stilted voice from a few feet away.
Geordi jumped at the sudden noise, but quickly grinned upon recognizing his partner’s voice. “Data? Data, are you okay?”
Data stood up with an uncharacteristic amount of effort, stumbling slightly as he braced his body against the wall. Geordi rushed up beside him and attempted to help, but Data was far heavier than he was.
Geordi looked him over with care, brushing a few specks of dust off his sweater. “How are you feeling? I looked you over for damage but I couldn’t tell if it was just superficial.”
“Myyy…” Data’s voice dragged on the syllable as though it was stuck. “My internal systemsss… report minimal internal dammmaaage. I am currently undergoing self-repair.”
