“Hyung-ahhhhhh.”
Jisung’s wobbly, drawn-out whine bounces down the two flights of stairs between their closed bedroom door and the kitchen where Hyunjin is currently standing like there are no doors in the whole house at all.
Hyunjin sighs, takes a long drink from the glass of water in his hand. It’s nice and cold, beading perspiration in the humid Australian air that is coming in through the window Chan had cracked open despite the air con blowing on full blast to keep the other inhabitants of the house cool. Speaking of Chan, there’s an even longer, wearier sigh coming from the sofa, where Chan is stretched out under a thin throw blanket, one of his arms thrown over his eyes.
“I mean …” Hyunjin starts, but Chan doesn’t even let him finish.
“Don’t say it.”
Upstairs, Jisung screeches at the top of his lungs before his scream peters out into another obnoxious high-pitched giggle.
“Well, you left them alone,” Hyunjin says, unable to resist the opportunity to tease Chan. Just a little bit. “If you were up there with them, they wouldn’t be doing … whatever it is they’re doing.”

Jisung averted his eyes. He was even more beautiful up close. His eyelashes throwing featherlight shadows across his cheeks, skin looking impossibly soft and hot to the touch.
“I promise, I won’t.”
Minho smirked at him.
“So you admit you were avoiding me before?”
The way Jisung’s eyes widened in shock was only rivalled in seductive beauty by the pretty pout that fell over his face right after. Minho couldn’t hold back the peal of laughter.
“I’m just teasing, Jisungie.”
Jisung turned his head away from Minho, shyly, almost coyly. Like a woman being courted, Minho realised suddenly. His gut twisted with red-hot arousal at the realisation. Jisung was flirting with him.
