Summary
On a remote Arctic research station, Louis Tomlinson's world is defined by data, freezing temperatures, and the twenty-minute supply drops that bring paramedic Harry Styles onto his ice every few weeks.
Two years of pining without either of them making a move turns into a race against time when a single misstep leaves Louis alone and injured in the field. With Harry sent in to rescue him, will he finally find the courage to tell Louis how he feels before it's too late?
Prompt 141: Louis works on a small Arctic research station that doesn't have a resident doctor. Harry is an air ambulance paramedic who is sent to help Louis when he gets hurt while conducting fieldwork.

Summary
"And Louis responds by kissing him. He closes his eyes and presses their lips together and hopes it’s enough to distract from how those words cut and extracted critical pieces of his heart, his soul. Louis kisses Harry to avoid sobbing, yelling, pleading, begging him to never, ever use words like always or never or I promise, because they can’t. They don’t have an always. Nevers will forever remain a mere dream. Time has run out for commitments or oaths or pledges and if Louis is going to be okay- if he’s going to enjoy this time with Harry and then let him go and still feel whole- he can’t let himself start thinking long term. He can’t let this become emotional; something more than silliness and fun and sex.
He can’t hear Harry say he’s proud of him when he doesn’t know if he’ll ever see him again after this week.
'I miss you,' Harry murmurs, his breaths warm and equally shaky. 'All the time.'
Louis kisses him harder."
~~~
Harry leaves his hometown to find himself. Every road he takes has a single, fated destination.
the tis the damn season fic.
Summary
It wasn’t enough for him to give in to an impulsive decision, a forgivable slip he could recover from somehow, maybe by passing it off as a joke or backing out before it was too late. No, when Harry fucked up, he did it properly, making sure there was no chance of saving himself. Impulsive decisions were for amateurs, Harry nurtured the tiny, spontaneous seed of his fuck-ups until it blossomed into a lush and fruit-laden plant, then protected it by building an impenetrable fortress around it, safe from any enemy, but most of all from common sense and self-preservation.
Harry was fucked, and he’d done it all with his own hands.
Summary
It’s Louis’ first year at Manchester United’s football academy, and he’s dead set on doing it right. With Harry by his side, the world is there for the taking. Playing for the Under-21’s team, the path to becoming the next star of the Premier League is clear.
He didn’t expect to have to deal with a new coach, missing his friends, and a homophobic teammate making his life that much worse. Hiding his relationship with Harry seems like a good plan until it doesn’t, and handling things in general doesn’t seem to be his thing.
Or: The one where Louis and Harry definitely love each other, and football still is everything. (Maybe it shouldn’t be.)
Summary
Harry spends a year traveling the world trying to figure himself out and ends up collecting photographs, strangers’ stories and one relentless homesickness shaped like Louis Tomlinson. Louis stays behind, studying psychology, pretending that the absence of one best friend doesn’t rearrange the flat’s gravity.
When Harry finally returns, everything feels almost the same. The light, the noise, the boys, the unspoken thing between them. Until it isn’t. Until there’s distance where laughter used to live and a thousand words they never learned how to say.
They’ve always been too close. Now it’s dangerous.
