It took the skilled investigator only a matter of seconds before realizing that there were drawings pinned to the fridge (held to the metal by tacky Gotham vigilante magnets; he wondered where the conman had gotten them- those weren’t Neal’s normally refined style of decor, that was for sure!) Looking over the drawings, he noticed the technical skill of the artist- had Neal really tacked his own drawings up on the fridge like a proud parent of a small child? He snorted quietly under his breath- that was the Caffrey ego, all right.
However, much like something had felt off about Neal’s statement about nightmares, or the addition of the artwork (and tacky magnets) to his fridge, something about the drawings themselves gave Peter pause; his infamous gut sensing something was not quite right about his theory. He had been staring at the images, stumped, for almost a minute when he realized that the drawings were made from a different perspective- a much shorter one, at that. Neal wasn’t particularly tall, but whoever had drawn these had to be even shorter.
So whose drawings were those, pinned to Neal’s refrigerator like he was some sort of proud dad?
