‘YOU?’ Mikey was leaning onto the kitchen table with one hand and clutching his side with the other, tears running down his face laughing. ‘You as in ‘’basement gremlin allergic to daylight’’ Gerard Arthur Way are going camping?’
Gerard stood at the kitchen door, arms crossed, huffing in annoyance as his brother was bent double in hysterics, banging the kitchen table for good measure.
Well, Mikey was dead wrong. Gerard could totally survive in the wild. He’d seen enough zombie survival movies and every episode of ‘Naked and Afraid’. He had skills! Besides, it was only five days. How hard could it be?

Summary
Frank's life is a steaming hot garbage filled dumpster fire hurtling downhill like a runaway train to nowhere. He can't keep a job, a boyfriend, or a band together if his life depended on it, which it kinda does. In a moment of drunken desperation he sets up an Only Fans account. In the cold light of day he has the mother of all headaches, a pissed housemate, and an offer from the mysterious Mr Walker. An offer he finds he can't refuse.
This is (very) loosely inspired by Phantom of the Opera, but y'know, minus the murders, and more handcuffs and lube...

Summary
Gerard knew Frank, everyone did, and Gerard had never heard the name ‘Frank’ without the words ‘You little shit’ following it. He couldn't think of anyone he would less like to spend four days with, but due to a booking error he finds himself sharing a room with the most annoying person he has ever met. At least the hotel bar provides room service; it's the only way he'll make it through the four day course without killing him.
This is very silly but with lots of hot angry hate sex thrown in.

Summary
He’d noticed him as soon as he stepped into the bar. It was hard not to, with his fire-truck red hair and fake fur coat. He looked almost as out-of-place as Frank felt. It made sense that the only reason someone as vibrant and so full of life as Gerard would talk to Frank was because he thought he was someone else. When Gerard got up to leave he found he didn’t want their conversation to end; didn’t want to go back to gazing across the bar at the same tired faces. Which was how he’d ended up running through the rain with a flame-haired hooker to his apartment.
A case of mistaken identity turns Frank's carefully crafted world upside-down. Gerard is a whirlwind of noise and light that Frank didn't even know he was missing. Whether he's just playing with Frank or a hustler he doesn't know, but he finds for some reason he can't say no to him.

Frank gave up all he knew to follow his boyfriend across the country. He hadn't anticipated everything starting to fall apart as soon as he got there, and he certainly hadn't expected his new roommate to be so caring and thoughtful and- yeah, sure, he was attractive.

Frank is, without a doubt, the most unpredictable person that’s been in Gerard’s orbit in years. For starters, he just said “shit” during a job interview.

or: Successful playwright and director Gerard Way is in desperate need of an assistant to help him keep all of his plates spinning in the six months before his newest play premieres. He expects someone polished, someone who knows the theater world, someone who knows who he is. Instead, he gets Frank Iero, a 23 year old punk with a couple of failed dreams and a knack for scheduling. He's abrasive, sarcastic, and refuses to engage with Gerard's work.
He's exactly what Gerard needs.

Summary
If it was five years prior, Gerard would close the space between them. He can still feel Frank’s hair ghosting between his fingers, still remember just how warm Frank always was, a living space heater whenever he pressed up against him. Frank wouldn’t be watching him like this back then, though. Gerard wouldn’t be this desperate to run.

After his career in LA falls apart, Gerard moves home to start fresh. He just plans to crash at his brother's apartment while he's getting back on his feet, but Mikey's roommate is Frank, and Gerard's suddenly confronted by the shards of the life (and love) he left behind in Jersey five years ago.
All he has to do is keep his distance and pretend he still isn't head over heels for Frank (and still terrified of commitment) until he can afford to move out. How hard can it possibly be?
