    Everyone loves Garrus Vakarian, for a multitude of reasons: Shakarian romance, best friend Garris, badass Garrus. One of my personal favorite things when it comes to Garrus is when he's the source of humor.

    If you like FemShep/Garrus romance and the galaxy's favorite turian looking like a fool then this one-shot is for you! The author does a great job of conveying both the tenderness in the relationship between the two and painting a mental picture of a comically drowning turian. And as with most mature romances Swim adds some strategic heat into this fluffy comedy, but in a tasteful way that can appeal to most anyone's sensibilities.

    There is a disappointing amount of well written romance in the Jak universe, whatever your pairing might be.

    Stains is short, make no mistake. However, what it lacks in length it makes up for in quality of writing. It is impressive what the author can accomplish with only 690 words. Much recommended if you're in the market for something short and bittersweet.
