Summary
“Your Christmas gift,” Chuuya announces, presenting… a white envelope. Not quite what she’d expected, but Dazai can work with it. Maybe it’ll be a giftcard for one of those fancy clothing shops that Chuuya uses to pamper her; perfect, really, but just a step below Dazai’s master plan. Yes, the holidays are about love and spending time together. Christmas is also a competition, and whoever thinks differently is weak. “Stop looking at it and open the damn thing, Dazai.”
“On it, your majesty.” Dazai uses her nails to pry the fold from the sticky adhesive. The outside of the envelope betrays nothing, not even when held up against the light. Curiosity buzzes under her skin. “Chuuya?”

Summary
Madara’s jaw clenched. “So when Tobirama was sneaking around with that smug, side-branch poetry peddler—that was fine?!”
“They weren’t sneaking,” Hashirama said, looking faintly nostalgic. “He brought Takeshi to dinner many times. Mito liked him.”
Madara staggered back a step like he'd been physically struck. “Mito met him?!”

Summary
Tobirama could map the spread of a poison, trace the arc of a contagion. But this was something else. A pressure building beneath the surface of every mind in Konoha, eroding restraint, whispering that want was reason enough.
He’d already ruled out infection, chakra interference, genjutsu, mass hysteria. None of it accounted for the same hollow look in the eyes of some of the villagers or the sudden hunger that burned through the rest. Something deeper was threading through them all, and it had started here—seven days ago.
At the center of it sat the merchant’s gift he confiscated from Kagami.
