“Forgot my stupid fucking-” Taehyun cuts himself off with a gasp, staring down at his wrist. “Oh my god.”
“What, what's wrong?” Kai asks, but Taehyun doesn't bother trying to put together a verbal response because his best friend is already moving to see what he's looking at. Kai lets out an honest to god screech, and if Taehyun weren't slowly but surely losing his sanity, he would have complained.
Kai realizes this, too, reaching out to gently touch his fingers to the spot just below the writing and call Taehyun's attention back to planet earth.
“You okay?” He asks. Taehyun looks up at him, blinking his face back into focus, and shakes his head. Before he can be asked for elaboration, he reaches for his phone and types in the phone number with shaky fingers.

Summary
Dangerous, Eomma says, whenever she sees Yeonjun chewing absentmindedly on his sleeve to keep his sharp teeth busy. Unnatural, Appa says, when Yeonjun's ears and tail shift with his emotions and his eyes glow yellow in the dark.
But then again, Eomma and Appa don't understand how it feels to have Yeonjun's fingers running through their hair or his soft breath brushing over their face; to be up in the trees and under the stars with him, lulled to sleep by the gentle rumbling in his chest as the second day of autumn slips into the third.
Beomgyu is eight and a half years old, and he may not understand very much about the world, but he knows how it feels to love someone like Yeonjun.

Summary
Dark eyes flick up and are met with a scowl—all fake annoyance. Beomgyu’s lips move into that little point to try and hold back his grin, and he has Yeonjun back to thinking about the fact that maybe love at first sight isn’t real—but surely there is something between them.
Of course he doesn’t love Beomgyu. He doesn’t even know Beomgyu.
He could snore, and he could be picky. He could be annoying and overbearing and a million other things that would make them not work out.
But there’s something. It’s in Yeonjun’s chest and his fingertips and his lips and his eyes. It’s warm and fuzzy and bright.
Yeonjun moves across the world and meets the man of his dreams on the first night of his new life. But, his hope of making a one night stand into something more is shattered once his new roommate makes it clear that will never happen.
