Summary
Ray Palmer who is secretly The Atom is in the company of members of the Lexicon Bandits who in this case are Colonial Fair City champion gymnast Isthmus "Panama" Squirrel and her dad Detective Robert Squirrel who is working a security detail to make sure that Browning University scientists Ray Palmer who is in the company of superheroes Len Brown who is secretly Dynamo and Tom Cargill who is secretly Magicman as well as Sergeant Kilkenny who have word from an anonymous source about an island near Victoria Island.
The catch is that a villain known as The Plant Master does not want anyone to even think of building a lab in his island.

Wilson Fisk who is a mobster in New York City has this dream of taking over New York City as the leader of the underworld after the "Retirement" of Spider-Man who decided that the insults coming from J Jonah Jameson of the Daily Bugle have turned the persons that Spider-Man has tried to serve caused Peter some mental stress to the point where Peter feels the need to take a vacation from being the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.
However Peter's new friend Elizabeth "Erika" Parker who is a swimmer who attends Fair City Junior College which is the archrival of Empire State University gives Peter a pep talk that being insulted by the media is part of being a superhero is not all sunshine and rainbows.

It was supposed to be a simple mission. The debriefing took less than two minutes, for crying out loud! Standard-procedure scouting operation.
