Summary
The stories about the Guardian of Aoba Johsai Shrine are, while shrouded in mystery, filled with honour and righteousness. The townspeople regard the Shrine Guardian as a sacred existence; parents pass down tales of each Shrine Guardian to their children, often imbuing them with lessons to be learnt.
For Oikawa Tooru, the 13th Shrine Guardian, there are no tales spun from his existence, no fables written about his efforts, and no legends born from his deeds. His story is different from all the Shrine Guardians that come before him.
His is a story about love.
