Summary
After the death of Nicki, Lestat doesn't know how living in a world without him is possible. He plans to bury his broken heart in the Egyptian sand. He will be staying on the surface long enough to fulfill his only purpose: revenge. Revenge on the very vampire he drove Nicki to madness. The vampire, Armand, is unknowingly the recipient of much of Lestat's love and affection, which Lestat has been keeping from him for the sake of Armand's sanity.. Unfortunately for the both of them, Lestat's grief has made him willing to break Armand's heart, and his own in the process.
