Summary
Han Yoojin works as a simple Pokémon breeder, taking care of other people's Pokémon and making sure they grow up strong and healthy. He wants nothing more than to stay out of public eye, but he seems to always catch everyone's attention.
Enter Sung Hyunjae, who seeks out the elusive breeder that can evolve any Pokémon. When Sung Hyunjae chances upon Han Yoojin, he can't stay away from the breeder and his secrets.
“Hello,” a smooth sounding voice greeted Han Yoojin’s ears. “Is this the Han Breeding center?”
“Yes,” Han Yoojin said with a stammer, “You’re correct.”
“Ah,” the taller blond held out a hand, “I am Sung Hyunjae, it’s nice to meet you. I am in need of your services.”
Han Yoojin wanted nothing more than to slam the door in Sung Hyunjae’s face.

Nothing was the same yet there’s quite a charming indulgence. Reading this felt like a sweet bite of cake paired with shots of expresso. I loved that they kept their original forms, that’s quite a unique touch. A slice of death with cheeky sentiments.

Yoojin’s quick wit and unruliness as “herbalist” in a potion shop is unpredictable in every interaction. I can never guess what his clients are up to but I appreciate the silliness. Quiet nights with a mysterious Hyunjae are such a reprieve from Yoojin’s misadventures in the day. Chirpie’s ability to get in trouble make me laugh until I can’t breathe. Whenever they meet, it’s so cozy like the warmth of hot tea on a cold day or sharing laughter in a private moment. Love this so much.
