Summary
Slaine collides against the cool surface of the cement wall sinking down to meet the floor of his cell. It is silent tonight, just like it has always been for more than a year. However, tonight, no guards are training their eyes on him, no nurses are forcing food down his throat, and the shutters to the window on the back side of his cell remains up and open. It seems as though he, and the mansion where he is kept prisoner has finally become completely abandoned.
