Summary

Kazuha merely shook his head, not at all surprised to learn of this. He takes another slow sip of the sake as an excuse to delay his response. Kazuha’s eyes flit to a flash of movement in the corner of his vision. Kunikuzushi stretches his legs out, crossing one of his ankles over the other. They’re both dressed lightly, in nothing more than kimonos and shorts on account of the late hour. Which means the milky skin of Kunikuzushi’s legs are left on full display for him to admire. His gaze trails up starting at the tips of his painted nails. The fingers that Kazuha isn't using to cradle his cup twitch, tempted to reach out and run them up the length of Kunikuzushi’s unblemished legs.
Then those alluring legs bend ever so slightly in a way that causes his kimono to ride up, exposing more skin. When Kazuha dares to look up he finds the deity staring him down with a knowing smirk and a challenge dancing behind his irises. There’s a wordless dare in the way Kunikuzushi tilts his head to emphasize the column of his neck. The red string wrapped tight around it is inviting Kazuha to hook his fingers underneath it and pull.
Aka Scara is a cat god, Kazuha is his bf, and they fuck.

Summary
The wanderer is given freedom, and Kazuha is given a companion. For one, there is certainty that the journey will be his last; and for the other, there is hope that the journey will never end.
A cage is opened, an anchor set. Meanwhile, the flaws of existence remain adrift across time and space, guided by the winds.
The wanderer and Kazuha agree to travel together for some time, despite being near strangers.
