Summary
Originally published as "The Red and the Orange"
Years after finding the One Piece and becoming the Pirate King, Luffy continues his journey along the Grand Line with his crew. Luffy and Nami have been a couple for a few years now: in an indefinite period of their relationship they made their union official, whose distinctive sign are the thin gold and diamond rings that they constantly wear on their left ring fingers…
"It had not yet been four months since their last escape, and it was not long before they realized that this one had been different from the others. Nami had realized it a couple of weeks after their return... and now, the event that would mark their lives forever was starting to become visible."
Pregnant with their first child and unable to continue their journey, Nami chooses to stay in Foosha while Luffy and their crew prepare to depart for the Sabaody Islands. For the couple, this represents the beginning of long weeks filled with waiting, distance, friendships and nostalgia, and they are both unaware of the shadow of an old acquaintance who is about to cross their path.
