He tries to ignore his growing hunger, until his inability to drain and hold down rats, the only game he can catch in his weakened state, brings him crawling back to Morgan asking for help. Delirious with hunger and suspicious of everyone, he senses something strange about Morgan, something he’s rarely encountered in a Faerûn where most people skip their periods with the help of a common garden herb. When Astarion gets a hand between her legs and discovers Morgan bleeding, he begs for it.
