Summary
Shane is a nursing student at McGill University in Montreal ; and a house maid as a part-time job. He will start working for the Rozanovs, rich people living in Westmount. It will be really difficult for Shane to pretend that he feels nothing when Ilya Rozanov, his boss with perfect gold curls and that cocky smile, keeps flirting with him. As the days go by, Shane will find himself having uncontrolable lust towards his older boss, making it difficult to act totally unfased when he repetively has thoughts about kissing him and being close to him. Shane does not know anything about sex, but Ilya Rozanov might be able to change that.

Shane looked up at him. “I’m fine, Ilya. Just tired.”
“Okay. It’s fine if you’re not okay, though. We can handle that.”
He doubted that Ilya, Anya, Harris, Coach Wiebe, his parents, The Irina Foundation, Rose, or even the gas station attendant down the road from their house could handle the idea of Shane looking at the black hole in his mind. It would swallow him. Everything would get out of control again.

Summary
In room 1410, Ilya Rozanov is ready to walk out the door after successfully getting his teenage hockey rival into bed. And giving Hollander what he needs in that moment will change everything.
Author's notes: I’m autistic and see a lot of myself in Shane Hollander. So I thought, in this situation, what if he did exactly what I did the first time I hooked up with someone and didn’t know what the protocol was after it was over, what the next steps were, how to be like everyone else in a moment that felt amazing and confusing at the same time. What if he just asked?
Canon divergent from the first hookup seen in HR s01ep01. Some things are from the show - aged up Marleau and Hunter, mainly - but the timeline is a mix of both. (Notably, they don't wait *two years*, they stick to the book timeline. IYKYK.) Some tags are for later chapters. Shane groaned, reaching out his hand to search for Ilya. His eyes were still closed, but as awareness came to him, he realized, without opening them, that he was no longer at home, in their bed, cuddled up with Ilya. The air was different, the floor a different material, and he could no longer feel Ilya’s body pressed against his.
He sprang up when that knowledge finally hit him full force. Where was Ilya?
