House Stark and House Lannister forgot that. They cannot serve while they squabble like hungry dogs over scraps. So they will be joined in peace. Lady Arya of House Stark and Lord Jaime Lannister of Casterly Rock, will marry at the new moon. House Stark and House Lannister will feud no further, by word or deed. Or-” She gestured wordlessly at the scaled bulk of Drogon outside, visible through the ruins of the back wall.

Highly recommend. Some of the best exploration of what life would like for the smallfolk in the whole system set up by GRRM. Also a wonderful exploration of what life under Tywin must have been like. Getting to see how Arya's thinks and implements all the various lessons she has learnt both formal and informal into how she wants to rule is really well done. One of the best Arya POVs I've ever read.
