Daniels' heart skipped a beat. Of course, this was not the first time Armand had said those words to him; it was when he put him on his knees in the Villa of the Mysteries that night he came to him among the ruins, but this felt pivotal. They had given themselves up to each other entirely. Had shared their blood, their bodies. Daniel had shared his mind. He was Armands', entirely.
A breath hitched in his throat, and he cleared it before he could speak."I'm yours."

Summary
The girl takes a small, barely audible breath, her skin utterly devoid of color and life, and dies quietly as Daniel and Armand watch.
For a long, drawn-out moment, there's only silence. Only the drip-drip-drip of the fucked up AC unit on the wall penetrates the heavy quiet. For some reason, Daniel expects the girl to take a gasping breath and awaken at any moment, and he watches her chest for any signs of life, but her body is still. The girl is dead, her beautiful hair splayed out on the scratchy, thin duvet.
Daniel watches as Armand peels the brown contacts out of his eyes and drops them on the nightstand.(Daniel watches Armand kill for the first time.)

"Well, I should have known. Every fledgling comes to despise their maker eventually. I had hoped it would be different between us, but alas."
"Oh, fucking shut up, you fool-"Armand gasped quietly as Daniel's lips found his own. A wave of shock and confusion floated toward him through the bond, and for a second, Daniel thought he had royally messed up, and this was it, now Armand was really gonna consider getting rid of him-until his maker's lips started moving against his. He kissed softly, reverently; a small noise escaped him before he broke the connection of their lips.

Daniel's newest purchase was no other vehicle than the 1974 AMC Gremlin in a stunning sienna orange; a gorgeous two-door-four-seater that was compact, fun and, as far as Daniel was concerned, came with only one flaw: the car was too small for two grown men to engage in any sexual activities inside it, beyond an awkward, adolescent-style fumble while seated next to each other, which was altogether not the sort of atmosphere Daniel usually aimed for when it came to wooing his maker.
Or: Daniel buys a new car and needs to improvise due to its small size, ends up bending Armand over the hood and fucking him silly.
