Summary
When Ilya is rushed into hospital following complications from an infection, Troy is left holding the bag. Literally. All he has is a locked phone, a jacket and the knowledge that Shane Hollander is on a plane to Las Vegas right now.
[This is set during The Long Game, with a few tweaks. Obviously in this, Troy is 100% sure that Shane is Ilya's secret guy, but they have not discussed it. Set after the All Stars Game.]

Summary
Luca Haas was a second pick draft. Luca Haas scored his first goal during his first game of his Rookie season. Luca Haas got his first Stanley Cup in his second MLH year. Luca Haas won the Conn Smythe his third year. Luca Haas hasn't been playing like he used to. Luca Haas has lost his edge. Luca Haas is a tale of wasted potential.
Recovering from an Olympics Captaincy that left him with a too-heavy bronze medal, Luca Haas wonders if maybe his career has just fizzled out. Not everyone became the Ilya Rozanov or Shane Hollander's of the world, not matter hype or proximity. The least he can do for his team is finish this season with some grace.
That all falls to the wayside when Luca meets someone who has him inspecting the mess of ideas and half thoughts that he had been repressing most of his life.
