Summary
In a world where soulmates are determined by a Soul Mark tattoo, having a Mark doesn’t magically make someone a good person. No one knows this better than Dean Winchester, whose soulmate is more than a little abusive.
Not that Dean would ever admit that, of course. Between Michael and his own insecurities, he’s convinced he’s broken on the inside, stuck fearing the person who’s supposed to love him more than anything. Summary
Cas is an overworked teenager who just lost his father, and is trying to run the tavern that's been left to him on his own. Dean knows nothing but mistreatment, and will do anything for a full stomach and a warm place to sleep.
Wander Home is a verse set in a vaguely medieval setting, with historical accuracy that depends on how much research I feel like doing that day. It is a hurt/comfort Destiel verse, with an autistic Cas and severely abused Dean finding each other and helping each other survive and heal <3
