    "I thought you were an otaku who couldn't think of anything but heroes." He slides in closer to Izuku, leaning so he can say to his ear, "who would have known you could have such cute thoughts."

    Katsuki knows the truth. He knows Izuku doesn't actually like him.

    "…Fine," his lips quirk up into a grin. "I'll date you."

    He finally understood his classmates saying he was an idiot for trying. A tiny part of him was even grateful for all of Kacchan’s attempts at trying to let him down easy, in a way. He couldn’t deny the fact that it’d be painful to just realize on his own than have constant reminders of his position. It seemed the more he thought about it the more unrealistic and far-fetched his wish seemed.

    What if Katsuki helped save Izuku on that fateful day instead of the other way around?
