    Li’l Petey finally convinced his father to take a much needed vacation over at a small town resort in Maine. Petey was reluctant at first, until the reasurance of his mother's letter pushed him to get the much needed quality time with his son.
    But after some car troubles, they were able to make it to the road to town until a strange figure walks across, causing Petey to crash his car.
    He eventually wakes up, noticing Li’l Petey had disappeared and immediately started looking for him. Coming to realize that he’s in Silent Hill. But it’s odd, why is the town covered in fog and snowing in the summer? And what were those grotesque creatures?
    Now he’s left with no choice but to find his son and get out of here as soon as possible. Along with a little help of a Dog hybrid, Greg Knight, a police officer from a nearby town to investigate Silent Hill’s Police Precinct’s absence of communications.
    But little did they know, they were about to delve into the manifestation of their worst fears.

    Petey is dead. His body found with a burn mark carved into the concrete of an abandoned warehouse. Makes for a case full of half answers. Which means Dog Man gets assigned to the investigation because everyone knows: Whoever killed Petey could kill again. And the city isn’t ready for that.

    When Dog Man returns to the scene of the crime, he runs into something impossible.

    Petey’s ghost. Bitter, lonely, and still very much himself.

     

    Or: What begins as resentment slowly turns into trust, then tenderness—even if Petey only exists in echoes and flickering light.
