A new day, another day of Gold's newfound routine. Head down to the lab, sit and talk with Silver (and his seniors, but Silver was the main reason he was there) until the lab closed, then go home, and repeat the next day. Another day of the routine he’s been following for the past three months, hoping that one day would be different.
But today was different, just not in the way he hoped. As he looked at Silver, raking his eyes over him, he couldn’t help but… want to kiss him. It would just be one small kiss. And it would help Gold figure out these feelings he’s been having towards him.

In a bet based on skill, Gold always manages to find some way to rig it to be in his favor. And even when it's a bet that relies purely on luck, Gold is still one of the luckiest people that Silver has ever met.
No one should ever make a bet with Gold, unless they're expecting to lose.
If only he could listen to his own advice.
