Dream used to be the most feared supervillain in the country--genuinely, unrepentantly evil, top-ten-heroes-dead evil--until his little sister asked for one thing on her birthday: her brother back, not the guy in the mask. So he burned down the last of his old life (literally), hung up an apron, and opened a flower-and-coffee shop that somehow became the unofficial headquarters for students, villains and anyone that has a secret life basically, and one (1) secret he's desperately hoping never walks back through that door.

Just sayin’, are they snatchin’ the children off the streets at like, two, and then goin’, ‘These are your ABCs, kid, and these are the wonders of blind patriotism, here's your deadly weapon, now don’t disappoint the city! And uh, don’t get murdered, I guess, but that’s like priority number two’? Is that what they’re doin’?”

Summary
