Summary

Even after Gwi-Ma’s defeat, there are still days where Rumi wishes her scars would just disappear. She would still cover up, even though Mira and Zoey have told her that they love her patterns (and her). Then, there are days where Rumi just stares at them with pure disgust and hatred. Sometimes, she would just draw a “bit” of blood. Old habits really do die hard.

"I feel just fine, Frank. Thank you," Wally replied. He couldn't help but feel saddened upon replying. Why was this bothering him so much? Home only did it for his own good. Why was it so painful then? He didn't want to tell anyone. It's ridiculous. A few days being locked inside Home is nothing to be hysterical about.

After being locked in for days against his will, Wally found it hard to ask for help from anyone. He's hoping that after spending some time with his friends, it will let him forget about what happened, but nothing good comes out of repressing your emotions.

The rain was burning everything around her, but Luz’s eyes were caught on Amity – cheeks far more flushed than Luz had ever seen them, panting softly and barely holding up her own umbrella-like forcefield to prevent herself from getting burnt. The acid rain bit at her feet, which were turned in on each other, and added to the feeling of her hunched-over shoulders – that Amity looked small, and flustered, and vulnerable.
“I’m sorry,” Amity began, a tremor on her lips that Luz wanted to, but couldn’t, discount to the cold. “I didn’t know where else to go. Can I stay?”
