He took it without question, opening it up to a set of papers clipped neatly to one side. Most of the information on the papers held no value to Megumi, except for the fact that it was all information about one Toji Fushiguro. That was his name. His eyes found the picture clipped to the piece, it was in black and white and showed a middle aged man in old clan attire, sharp jaw line, black–and from the looks of the picture–greasy hair, and a scar at the far end of his lip. This was his father.
“Before I tell you, I need you to understand that I didn’t know.”
Megumi’s eyes found Gojo’s in a second, staring right through that nightshade blindfold.
“What.”
Gojo inhaled, a slight shake in his breath. Something unusual for Megumi to hear.
“He’s alive.”

Toji's alive and Megumi learns that he has to go live with him on the weekends.
