“Well, I couldn't have gone, anyway,” Hyunjin says quickly, still not ready to admit defeat. “It's supposed to be a business trip. I didn't want to be a bother.” They're there on business. He doesn't want to impede Chan and Minho's work, nor does he want to be a distraction.
Felix huffs, sounding somewhat incredulous. “They're literally in love with you, how on Earth would you be a bother?” Hyunjin doesn't answer. He doesn't know how to, doesn't know what to say. The ugly emotion is back, rearing its head, making a mess of him, tearing him apart from the inside. He pouts at the darkness, thinking about what Chan and Minho are doing without him right now. If they're thinking about him. If they even miss him at all.
