Kamado was strong, compassionate, and seemed to like Mitsuri as she was. The boy wouldn’t be the worst choice. Bitterness filled his gut.
“Tanjiro?” She looked up towards the sky in thought. She kicked out her legs absentmindedly. His eyes lowered to her feet and traveled up her green socks, following the lines up to her thighs. If she confessed to liking the brat, Obanai would have to throw his unrequited love away.

Therefore when a young Kamado Tanjiro happens upon a trapped demon inside the mountain, he mistakes him for a god and places offerings inside the cave.

Summary
Michikatsu Tsugikuni, or Kokushibo as he was known for the last 400 years, was not a very emotional person. He was quiet, focused and powerful. At least, that's what the other Upper Moon Demons think.
If there was one thing Kokushibo regretted... it would be his whole life, almost every decision he made. But now, it was as if his brother had come from the dead and offered him another chance. Would he accept? would he deny? He wasn't sure if he deserved it, but maybe he could make it right this time.
