Five, on the other hand, had been bundled into an armchair the second they all fell into the motel room and forbidden from moving on pain of rumours.
Set post-season two, in a crappy motel room with six siblings hiding out from the rest of the world.

“Niichan—” Jiro calls as he spins on his heel, “’m takin’ Saburo to school now.”
The line is… nostalgic, reminds all three of them of times Jiro had to hold Saburo’s hand as they walked together, way back when Jiro still had it in him to wake up early so he’d have extra time to bring Saburo all the way to his elementary school before he went his own way to middle school. But Jiro’s voice, when it’s determined and resolute like this, is rough and loud and nowhere near as soft as it should be when addressing their eldest, borderline rude and like he’s picking a fight with the entire world.
Saburo doesn’t have time to look back and check what Ichiro’s reaction to that was. As Saburo trails after Jiro when he walks off without waiting to check either, in spite of himself, Saburo hopes Jiro won’t get in trouble for it. And in spite of himself, Saburo thinks that just now, Jiro sounded pretty cool and reliable.

Yorozuya Yamada never backs down until they’ve delivered cheap, fast, sturdy, and high-quality help to their clients, no matter who, no matter what they’re asking. Ichiro’s reputation and personality hasn’t brought their business this far in a mere couple of years only to be ruined by being picky with which jobs they take seriously. All of it, Ichiro’s taught them, plays a role in lifting up Ikebukuro.
Even then, even if this little girl’s probably just going to ask for help looking for a lost kitten or something, and even if that’s something he can easily do for her because it’s a more common occurrence than anyone would think, a child on his arm for what could be the whole afternoon if worse comes to worst isn’t something Saburo wants to deal with on his own.
He’s had to learn the hard way that some requests just happen to be two-man jobs, and that unfortunately meant hesitating only slightly to work with Jiro. If it’s for the express purpose of completing a mission for the yorozuya, Saburo can stand being paired up with Jiro. In fact, he might even rely on him. So without further delay, Saburo fishes his phone out of his bag and taps his second speed-dial.

“Is everything alright? Where are you now?” Jyushi’s protectiveness kicked in, already standing up from his chair.
“No, no Jyushi.” Kuko said as he heard footsteps through the phone speaker, “It’s fine. I’m already at your door.”
Between the outside gloominess of grey skies and autumn leaves Kuko was indeed standing on Jyushi’s front porch, phone in hand while face hidden below the fabric of a black hoodie, refusing to look upwards.

Four tilts his head, bringing his hand to his lips and inhaling deeply around the cigarette dangling between his fingers. When he exhales, the smoke curls around his head like a halo before drifting into the air.
“Yeah, well, I would’ve gotten here sooner,” Four says around the cigarette. “But I just really didn’t want to.”

Number Four shows up to the funeral three hours late with an iced latte in one hand and a cigarette dangling from the other.
Or; Klaus fled the Academy the day they turned eighteen. He never looked back.
Ten years later, their father dies.
Number Four returns.And none of them quite know what to do with this new version of their black sheep brother.
