Awaken in the isolation of the Canadian wilderness, Logan has no memory of who or what he is, only a fractured recollection of survival, violence, and the unsettling realization that he cannot die. Found injured and confused by Heather and James Hudson, Logan becomes part of Alpha Flight, a team working alongside the Canadian army.
Haunted by nightmares and tormented by an unknown past, Logan struggles daily with his own violent instincts and the metal claws hidden beneath his skin, Heather, the one person who sees beyond his hostility, desperately seeks help and contacts Charles Xavier, a mysterious telepath known for aiding others like Logan.
