The canon story is a rule set in stone, every word is true, every word happened, unless we ask fanfic writers. Every world has its own canon story, and the ones who know this story like the back of their hands are the real fans. The canon of the Harry Potter world is Pottermore (so to say), and the one who knows this story like the back of his hand is Gilbert Grinwald, whom his friends only call Potterocopedia. The boy lives a completely ordinary life until he dies at the age of eighteen and realizes that he has been given a new chance. And in his favorite world? What more could you want? Yes, but there is a little bug. Gilbert was gay in his world, and the character whose life he was given is none other than the great Gellert Grindelwald! Will our Potterocopedia decide to change the cannon, or is his admiration and respect for the writer so great that he sacrifices his own happiness for everything to be as it was in the books. (Side note, the story happens right after the release of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, so Gilbert knows nothing that happend after that)
