Summary
Mitsuba wasn't a very social person. Sure, he got along fine with most people. But he didn't consider any of them as close friends but rather, acquaintances. However, that changed when he met Kou Minamoto. At first, Mitsuba was annoyed by his loud, annoying and way too caring attitude. But over time (and much to Mitsubas dismay) the two began to grow closer. Eventually, their feelings grew into something more.

He was pointing at his chest once again, accusingly and maybe… maybe Kou had something to feel guilty about, after all, despite the mean things he had just said about his friend.
“Oi, don’t call her-”
“And! And at this point I feel like I need to remind you myself because-! Because sometimes you act like you actually don't remember. You know we don't, right? Your little freak of a bathroom-pervert friend and me. We’re not growing up with you. We're supernaturals. We're dead.”//: Kou will make Mitsuba a human being, believe it or not. However, this is the story of Mitsuba looking for himself and Kou spending a week inviting him on dates to find him. (Because this is basically what happens.)

Summary
For the entirety of winter break, a familiar but forgotten boy with pink hair was missing from his class due to large injuries that landed him in the hospital. Before entering the classroom, he did everything to look nice enough when he got back. Although the boy didn't want to get attention from anyone, all eyes were on him when he stepped inside the classroom. His plastered hand was the key thing that everyone stared at, including his unfamiliar face.
However, a very well-known face from the class was one of the people who didn't acknowledge the pink-haired boy at first. A blonde-haired boy with a safety earring chatted with his friends until he finally noticed the other sitting down in the seat in front of him. He trailed off quickly, blinking a few times, thinking about if he met him before. His face was so familiar, yet he couldn't put his thumb on who the boy sitting in front of him was.
