“How was your trip back home?” The redhead asked as a way of greeting him.
“Like always,” he simply replied, continuing his walk to the kitchen to find something for breakfast. “Guess I’m gonna be a big brother though.”“....what?” Eijiro asked, turning his head to follow the figure into the kitchen with wide eyes. “What did you just say?” He asked again after a beat of silence.
“I said it was like always.” Katsuki opens the fridge to look inside, contemplating eggs for breakfast.
“No no, after that. What did you say after that?”
“I’m gonna be a big brother.”
Stunned into silence, it takes Eijiro a few seconds to ask “What does that mean?”
Katsuki scoffs, grabbing three eggs, “It means my mom is pregnant, dumbass.” It doesn’t have the normal heat his voice holds, which throws Eijiro off.
“Serious?”

“I loved your voice!” Katsuki shut his eyes, his heart was pounding, he didn’t want this guy to leave. “I watched you everyday for the past month and I listened to your song!” He wasn’t sure what was compelling him to say what he was saying, but he felt like he had to tell this stranger right now or else he wasn’t going to get the chance to. “I fell in love with your face and even your shitty hair and I want to keep seeing you here!”

Summary
When he comes to again, it’s night time, the lights are dimmed and his body is definitely feeling a lot better. Still sore, but definitely more moveable now. He sighs and clenches his fists, just to make sure that he still has control of his body. His memory is a little hazy, he just remembers fighting with Endeavor against Shigaraki, who tried to break into the prison to save All for One.
“What happened to Endeavor?”
Silence fills the room before Eijirou clears his throat. “Shigaraki erased his quirk with the bullets they got a hold of from Overhaul.”
Katsuki’s mouth falls open a little, his mind goes blank and into overdrive at the same time. Again. It’s his fault again that the number one hero is forced to retire. He’s a pro-hero this time yet he couldn’t do a damn thing again.
