“Sils!” Sevika calls, but you don’t turn back.
You cover your nose and mouth, following Violet. She turns down an alley and you call her name. “Violet, wait!”
You catch up to the alley, just as she turns to look at you. You pull down your hood. “Violet–”
“What are you doing here?” She seethes.
You pant as you catch your breath, your hands gripping her shoulders. “Where are you going?”
