Xie Lian opened his eyes and blinked a few times to clear the tears that had gathered, and he loosed his grip on the sink. He turned slowly to look at the radio.
Xie Lian raised his eyes and scanned the small bathroom. He had been panicking and spiraling downward in his own mind when he felt…something. A presence. Almost like a… a pressure…surrounding him, as if he were being embraced by ethereal arms. He had felt a presence like that before, once… after his parents..
And the radio had turned on and interrupted his descent into the darkness by buoying his consciousness back to the surface, to the time and space he was in. Maybe…
Maybe he wasn’t alone…~~~~~~
Or Xie Lian moves into a new apartment and discovers he isn't the only tenant.

Summary
“Hi! Here is your…” Xie Lian looked up and outstretched his forearms to give the guy his order. His eyes met the face of what had to be the most handsome being (for this couldn't possibly be a human) imaginable. Sharp jawline, pointed chin, thin lips curled in a mischievous smirk, a long straight nose, strands of night-dark hair framing all the pale beauty of the cheekbones and cascading down his shoulders in slight waves, as if they had dried in the summer sun after a dive into the ocean, defined eyebrows raised in a high arch below the widow's peak...The man was either a god or the devil incarnate, making Xie Lian wish to both kneel in awe and sell his soul.
OR: Xie Lian feels like he finally obtains some control over his life, having recovered from his addiction and gotten a full-time job. He is still navigating his past trauma, but some important parts of his life seem to have faded from his memory. Hua Cheng, a famous streamer who never shows his face, gets his pizza delivered by the very person who has had more impact on his life than they know.

It was hard, at first, to pinpoint just what about the bucolic lifestyle Xie Lian leads was so appealing to Hua Cheng. It’s picturesque, certainly, with cozy hutches and small terraces to yield the crops.
Sweet air, vivid colour, cold water.
Like an idiot, he’d thought it was the pull of the farm rather than the farmer.
