Summary
Fidelio’s world had always been small, compact. At first it was just him and Basilio, and Vinca and the other paripus at the Igniter Experiment Facility. Next it began to include Saint Rella, who saved his brother from death, and her little sister with the beautiful voice. Then Lord Louis came along, and he promised the brothers a life they could only have dreamed of. He gave them a place among the strongest in Euchronia, where they would want for little and could protect themselves from any harm.
All of this to say, he did not tend to allow others in so easily. He could not afford the pain that came with relationships, platonic or not. However, recently, an… exception came along.

Summary
Neither Cater nor Idia was particularly fond of Twisusus. Cater acknowledged the clout they provided, and he’d be willing to lie about how ‘cute’ they were if he got him likes and followers. But the actual enjoyment he’d get from owning one was next-to-none. Idia could understand the appeal, but they weren’t for him personally. Although, a game he liked did run a limited-time promotion featuring Twisusu-ified versions of their characters, so that was one point in favor of Twisusus.
So while they didn’t particularly like them, they also did not hate them. The same, however, could not be said for Leona Kingscholar.

Summary
The other Orpheus, who she suspects belongs to the boy, plays a song—the one her Orpheus had been playing in Tartarus—and there’s a new sensation that comes along with it. She smiles, like she’s remembered something important. The boy does not smile back, but somehow she knows he feels the same thing she does. It reminds her of when she forms a social link or when she strengthens her bonds.
It feels like the Universe.
